Great design. Excellent build. Priced right.

As soon as I saw this organizer listed, I had to order it. Someone in my household always leaves the chains on our horse trailer lying on the ground, in the mud, which become frozen to the ground. This organizer solves this issue along with keeping the RV plug off the ground and in a position that won't allow water into the connections. This is a simple design but very high-quality build - aluminum so it won't rust. Stainless steel bolts. They include an Allen wrench AND a hex driver for your drill or impact driver for simple install.Great design. Excellent build. Priced right.

Great product, well made

It's always a pain to figure out where to put the chains and plug when parked. Many times they end up in the dirt, or on the cement, but just lay there, which annoys me. No matter how many times we would drape them over the tongue, they almost always slipped off and ended up on the ground. I saw this and immediately ordered it. It's the perfect solution-it doesn't require an involved assembly or install-put it on, tighten the bolts (they also included a little tool to attach to your drill to tighten the 4 screws) and you're in business. Hang the chains on the u-shaped area, put the plug in the holder, and no need to worry that it'll get wet-they figured that out also with a grate on the bottom allowing any rain water to drain away so there's no water sitting in with the plug. No more dirt in the plug, or mud on the chains, so now I'm an even more happy camper! This is simple, but very useful, and makes the towing experience better.  Kudos to the inventor of this product. It's a good product at a great price point and I highly recommend it.

Very handy

This is a very simple device that is very easy to install. I like that it has holes in the bottom where you store the 7-pin connector so that any rainwater will drain out. Being able to install the safety chain hooks in the trailer breakaway cable was well thought out, too. I think it will come in handy for such a simple device.

A great organizer for my flatbed trailer.

In the past, I had to dangle my safety chains over the tongue of my trailer and try to hang my plug so rainwater doesn't get in. This chain and plug organizer is an excellent idea that keeps those items organized. I especially like that the 7-way plug is always held upside down and has drainage to prevent water from getting into the plug and oxidizing the connectors. It was simple to install and is well-made. It fit my jack body perfectly. I also like that it is made out of aluminum, making it rust free.Overall, it is a great concept and a very useful and functional addition to my trailer. It offers great utility and value for the price. If I were a trailer manufacturer, I would put one of these on every trailer. It just makes sense.

Great solution, but is there really a problem?

This holder seems a little in the realm of a first-world solution looking for a problem (is it REALLY necessary?). But, I have to admit, it seems nice. I will keep the plug and chains up out of the dirt/mud. If nothing else, it provides me with a better visual indication that I have forgotten to hook everything up to the tow vehicle.Build quality is very nice. It is very solid and sturdy. According to my tape measure, it will fit any pipe as small as 1-7/8" all the up to 2-1/2" and easily clamp for secure connection. I like that they proved an allen key to install the 4 screws, but also provided a driver bit that made the total install time less than 5 minutes. It functions per the design. It gives you a nice tube (with drain holes) for the 7-way plug to rest, facing down to keep water out. The chain hooks are deep and would let you wrap it around a couple times if you prefer. The clamp has some pretty aggressive teeth, but the provided a couple peel-n-stick rubber strips to line the inside to help protect the paint on your jack tube. You certainly don't want to overtighten and crush the tube. But it tightens down with an impact driver just fine.Based on the quality and inclusion of the other items to make install a breeze, I would say it is a good value overall. Is it a safety "must have"? No, but I do like having it.
